I got tired of having to guess what length bungees to use for tying down the tarp on my boat. This is the clear deal. I just attached to one side of the tarp, then stretched the bungee to a comfortable tension, cut, and attached the hook. When they weaken I can adjust and re-use the hooks. Saving lots of money over throwing away entire bungees when they weaken and every one is always the right length.

Quality product!

If you're hesitating... DON'T! This cord is very high quality, and at a very fair price. Plus it's 'USA made' -- what a rare treat these days! Just bear in mind that if you cut it (we needed ours to be about 6" shorter), you'll lose that nice heat-sealed end, replacing it with a fluffy, fraying, Q tip of a thing that was hard to feed into the base of our hook. A couple of quick passes through a candle flame re-sealed it, but it's now a pretty sorry sight compared to H&C's laser-like cut. Live 'n' learn....

apparently there's an issue with pricing. When you click on the length button it shows .37 cents per foot up to 200' continuous. I ordered 115' and was charged .42 per foot. Just saying you need to fix this before someone starts yelling false advertising....either charge what you post or change it...

A: It varies on the individual use. A safe pull/stretch is 50%

Q: What are the resistance ratings of your various color bulk bungee cords? I want to replace some home exercise resistance bands.

A: Bungee cords will lose there strength over time. You might need to go with a different material to get resistance ratings for your exercise resistance bands. Even tho we can not give you the amount of resistance, it does depend on the thickness of the cord and does not matter the color.
