BUNGEE CORD (1/2") - PREMIUM EPDM SOLID CORE FLAT CORD - USA MADE - (BY THE FOOT)

I bought a short length of both the black and the red. Fulfillment was quick, accurate, and neat. Both appear to be of high quality. Note that the cores of these are EPDM, a tough synthetic rubber, which has some stretch, but not as much as common bungee cord. That might be good or bad depending on your application. Also note that although both are indicated to be 1/2" wide, the black cord was almost 1/32" narrower and red cord was about that much wider.

Accurately described 1/2” width flat bungee. It is slightly domed, meaning the center is a bit thicker, but nominally 1/8” thick. Before ordering, I made an inquiry in regards to stretch factor under load, but this went unanswered. Under a 30# load I estimate a very hard 25% stretch. This would be useful for industrial applications involving longer run lengths. Possibly bungee jumping elephants, that kind of thing. Until that event, it hit the “maybe someday” box.
